چکیده
Aquaporins, also known as water channels, are a large family of transmembrane channel proteins present throughout all life domains and implicated in human disorders. The psychrophilic aquaporin comes to attention because its specialty adaptive ability keep on functioning maintain homeostasis under low temperatures, which have an optimal temperature for growth at about 15ºC or lower. However, studies regarding isolated from Pseudomonas sp. still scattered. Recently, the genome sequence Antarctic strain AMS3 revealed gene encoding putative designated PAqpZ2_AMS3. In this study, structure analysis molecular dynamics (MD) simulation predicted model fully hydrated monomer was embedded lipid bilayer performed different temperatures structural flexibility stability analysis. MD results that could remain stable flexible medium temperatures. addition, important position gating amino acids, Phe36 Asn180 residues were rearranged -5ºC simulation, leading changes column size. information obtained aquaporin, PAqpZ2_AMS3, provides new insights into adaptation protein be useful tool low-temperature industrial applications engineering purposes future.

Expression and characterization of thermotolerant lipase with broad pH profiles isolated from an Antarctic Pseudomonas sp strain AMS3
A gene encoding a thermotolerant lipase with broad pH was isolated from an Antarctic Pseudomonas strain AMS3. The recombinant lipase AMS3 was purified by single-step purification using affinity chromatography, yielding a purification fold of approximately 1.52 and a recovery of 50%. The molecular weight was approximately ∼60 kDa including the strep and affinity tags. Interestingly, the purified...
متن کاملThe Effect of N-Terminal Domain Removal towards the Biochemical and Structural Features of a Thermotolerant Lipase from an Antarctic Pseudomonas sp. Strain AMS3
Lipase plays an important role in industrial and biotechnological applications. Lipases have been subject to modification at the N and C terminals, allowing better understanding of lipase stability and the discovery of novel properties. A thermotolerant lipase has been isolated from Antarctic Pseudomonas sp. The purified Antarctic AMS3 lipase (native) was found to be stable across a broad range...
متن کاملDraft Genome Sequence of Chilean Antarctic Pseudomonas sp. Strain K2I15
We announce the draft genome sequence of Pseudomonas sp. strain K2I15, isolated from the rhizosphere of Deschampsia antarctica Desv. The genome sequence had 6,645,031 bp with a G+C content of 60.4%. This genome provides insights into the niche adaptation, prophage carriage, and evolution of this specific Antarctic bacteria.
متن کاملDissipation of butachlor by a new strain of Pseudomonas sp. isolated from paddy soils
Butachlor (BUT) is a chloroacetanilide herbicide widely applied to rice paddies to control annual grass and broad-leaf weeds. A BUT-degrading bacterial strain (PK) was isolated from paddy soils. Biochemical and 16S rRNA sequencing characteristics confirmed the strain as Pseudomonas aeruginosa (99% resemblance). The isolate dissipated BUT (100 μg/mL) in an M9 liquid medium with a rate of 0.5 ± 0...
متن کاملMolecular Cloning and Functional Expression of a Δ9- Fatty Acid Desaturase from an Antarctic Pseudomonas sp. A3
Fatty acid desaturase enzymes play an essential role in the synthesis of unsaturated fatty acids. Pseudomonas sp. A3 was found to produce a large amount of palmitoleic and oleic acids after incubation at low temperatures. Using polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), a novel Δ9- fatty acid desaturase gene was isolated, cloned, and successfully expressed in Escherichia coli. The gene was designated as ...
